Privacy Policy

This site (barnalaszlo.com) is run by Barna László, also known as The AI Breakdown. This page explains, in plain terms, what information the site collects, why, and what you can do about it. If anything here is unclear, email me at laszlo@growthlabstudios.com.

What I collect

When you subscribe to the newsletter. I collect the email address you enter, and nothing else. I use it to send you the newsletter and a welcome email. That is the only reason I ask for it.

When you book a call or contact me. If you book a call through the scheduling link or send me an email, I receive the details you choose to share, such as your name, email, and whatever you write.

When you browse the site. With your consent, I use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit, which pages they read, and where they come from. This relies on cookies and collects things like your approximate location (country or city), device type, and the pages you view. It never loads unless you accept it in the cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set.

I do not collect sensitive personal data, and I never sell your data to anyone.

Cookies

The site uses only two kinds of cookies:

• Essential. A small record of your cookie choice, so the banner does not ask you on every visit.
• Analytics (optional). Set by Google Analytics, and only after you accept. You can decline, and you can clear them at any time in your browser.

Who processes your data

To run the site I rely on a few trusted services, each acting as a processor on my behalf:

• GoHighLevel stores newsletter subscribers and sends the emails.
• Google Analytics provides the consent-based traffic statistics.
• Calendly handles call bookings if you use the scheduling link.
• Namecheap hosts the website.

Each has its own privacy terms, and I only share what those services need to work.

How long I keep it

I keep your email for as long as you are subscribed. Unsubscribe and it comes off the active list. Analytics data is kept according to Google's standard retention settings.

Your rights

At any time, you can:

• Unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link at the bottom of any email.
• Ask what I hold about you, and ask me to correct or delete it.
• Withdraw analytics consent by declining the banner or clearing your cookies.

Children

This site and newsletter are meant for adults and are not directed at children.

Changes

If I change how the site handles data, I will update this page and the date at the top.
